THE BAD NEWS

We have all sinned against God:

Romans 3:23 – “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”

Because we are sinners, we are doomed for God’s wrath in the lake of fire:

Romans 6:23 – “For the wages of sin is death {the lake of fire}…”

Revelation 21:8 – “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

Revelation 20:15 – “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”

THE GOOD NEWS

Jesus Christ took God’s wrath for our sins on the cross:

Romans 5:8 – “But God commendeth {demonstrated} his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

1 Corinthians 15:3 – “…Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;”

Jesus Christ was buried:

1 Corinthians 15:4 – “And that he {Jesus Christ} was buried…”

Isaiah 53:9 – “And he {Jesus Christ} made his grave with the wicked...”

Jesus Christ rose from the dead:

1 Corinthians 15:4 – “…he {Jesus Christ} rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”

Luke 24:5-6 – “5…Why seek ye the living among the dead? 6 He {Jesus Christ} is not here, but is risen…”

Jesus Christ now offers eternal life to all:

Romans 6:23 – “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

NOW WHAT SHOULD I DO ABOUT IT?

Turn from your sins:

Luke 13:3 – “…except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish {spend eternity in the lake of fire}.”

Acts 17:30 – “…but now {God} commandeth all men every where to repent:”

Mark 2:17 – “…I {Jesus Christ} came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ to save you from your sins and hell:

John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son {Jesus Christ}, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Acts 16:30-31 – “30…Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.”

Ask the Lord to save you today – HE WILL:

Romans 10:13 – “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

2 Corinthians 6:2 – “…behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”
